Hello, I’m Sarah, the hands and heart behind The Petal Story.
Inspired by the changing seasons and the beauty of the countryside around me, my work blends an elegant, refined aesthetic with a softer, wilder feel. Each stem is thoughtfully placed, allowing the flowers to move and flow naturally. Intentional, yet effortlessly beautiful.
Wherever possible, I use locally grown Cheshire flowers, many of which I grow myself on my own flower patch, creating wedding flowers that feel deeply connected to the season and landscape around us. The story each stem carries.
For me, floristry is not just about arranging flowers, but about nurturing connection – between people, between flowers and the earth, and between every detail that makes each piece unforgettable.
