I’m Sarah, the hands and heart behind The Petal Story. I create natural, expressive floral designs for weddings & events across Cheshire and the North West - from abundant aisle meadows and statement installations to country garden inspired bouquets with movement, texture and scent.
Inspired by the changing seasons and the beauty of the countryside around me, my work blends an elegant, refined aesthetic with a softer, wilder feel.
Every design is created with care and intention, using locally grown flowers wherever possible, along with carefully sourced blooms chosen for their beauty and quality.
I’m also beginning to grow a selection of my own flowers, allowing my work to become even more connected to the seasons, the land, and the stories each stem carries.
For me, floristry is not just about arranging flowers, but about nurturing connection – between people, between flowers and the earth, and between every detail that makes each piece unforgettable.
